Electric Ovens

Electric ovens are the preferred type of oven for most people as they offer a much quicker and more consistent heat and they also often have more advanced controls and features. And we make it easy for you to buy a cheap electric oven online as we list cheap deals on each page from the top kitchen appliance shops.

Most electric ovens are fan assisted and so spread the heat around the oven very evenly and this will ensure that your food is cooked thoroughly and evenly. Fan assisted electric ovens also heat up very fast and so hardly need any pre-heating for your cooking and so fan assisted electric ovens are the ideal choice for home cooking.


When you buy an electric oven there are lots of things to consider and the most important is the type of electric oven as there are lots to choose from:

Freestanding electric ovens
A freestanding electric oven usually has an electric hob and oven all built into one unit and can be stood in any empty space in the kitchen that has a suitable electricity supply. The freestanding electric ovens are easier to fit as they simply stand where you place them but they do not look as good as the built-in ovens.

Built-in electric ovens
A built-in or integrated electric oven is installed into your kitchen cabinets and so you have to have a space in your cabinets for the oven and it will also have to be professionally installed. But a built-in electric oven looks much better as only the nice bits of the oven are showing and you can have them where ever your kitchen units allow. With the built-in ovens you can also have a hob located directly above the oven with a little wood and worktop inbetween and this also looks very nice and much neater than a freestanding oven.

When you buy an electric oven there is also the choice of how many ovens you would like and there are also different options for the grill:

Single oven
This is the most simple option with one electric oven that has a grill and these ovens are usually large and have room for at least two shelves.

Single Oven With Separate Grill
These electric ovens have two compartments with a door each with one being a dedicated oven and the other being a dedicated grill. This is great because you can cook and grill at the same time although the oven will usually be smaller than that of a single electric oven.

Double electric ovens
With these you have two separate electric ovens with one usually having a built-in grill and this offers the most flexibility in cooking as you can cook two different dishes at different temperatures at the same time and you can also grill and cook at the same time and so these are the best electric ovens available.
